The Paper Box Factory was originally a Carriage Factory constructed for R. Blair Taylor.

In 1907 a group of businessmen bought it and turned it into a factory that produced boxes till 1960s.

It was located on Lorne Street where the Payzant's Home Hardware Store used to be prior to its present location on Mallard Drive.
