The Frosty Hollow Inn was located 3 miles west of Sackville.
Around the time of World War I Mr. F.A. Fisher, president of the Enterprise Foundry, bought 750 acres of land at Frosty Hollow. He had his summnr home and his farm there.
Nora Wiggins, Mr. Fisher's wife, served afternoon tea on Sundays where family and friends would come. It was known as 'Frosty Hollow Fisher's Family Gathering'.
After Mr. Fisher's death, Bob Kaye bought the property.
The Inn, owned by John (Jock) and Lillie (Raymond) Wiggins, was originally called Frosty Holllow Tea Rooms. The White Fence Issue #97
There's a story about Mrs. Helen MacKinnon who worked there 7 days/w since 1941 and got paid .50 cents/hour.
She used to make porridge bread (recipe included in White Fence Issue #97)
