The story Behind
When do you see a rainbow in the sky? When the sun shines after a rainfall. What message does that convey? Whenever there are dark clouds, difficulties or challenges, the bright sunshine or good times will follow.
I have been experimenting with various glazes in an effort like the northern lights. It has been a long process of testing and changing the glaze combinations. Finally, I feel this celestial mug really does look like the heavenly sky that exists as the Northern Lights dance across the sky.
This mug has layers upon layers of overlapping glazes. The miracle happens when the glazes melt and interact with each other. It creates the depth while giving an amazingly beautiful effect, just like what one would see in the sky when the Norhern Lights put on a show.
