The story Behind

This sculpture features many hanpainted images of various gods and goddesses in India that the peacock is associated with. This fact, along with peacock's beauty and elegance make it India's national bird.

Emperor Shahjahan's throne was peacock shaped. It was adorned with many precious stones including the Kohineer. The sculpture incorporates that piece of the history along with peacock's divine association. Peacock is elegant, mesmerizingly beautiful, and regal. That is why I named this sculpture 'Royal Divinity'.
