I grew up in India. My mother's garden was filled with a wide variety of flowers. The bougainviliea flowers decorated her gateway. She had beautiful roses, jasmine, marigolds, hibiscus and various other flowers.
At night the fragrance of these flowers would waft in through the screens of the windows, making the whole house smell beautiful.
I love to paint, or carve or use texture or bas-relief technique to create various types of flowers. The metallic glazes and other complimentary glazes make this a stunning piece.
