I am not a hockey player but I love to see the youngsters play hockey. I have a grand daughter who has been playing hockey since age five. At age five, the hockey gear weighed more than she did. The practices were early in the morning but that didn't deter her from playing hockey. I love watching her games. The passion for playing hockey is the inspiration behind this painting.
