I live by the Tantramar marsh. Picture the sunrise on the marsh. As the marsh awakens, it is caressed by rays of sun that adorn it in a tapestry woven with shimmering colours of gold, brown, and yellow amid the tall green marsh grasses. The Story Behind

I live near the Tantramar Marsh. I love to soak in the sights of the natural beauty of the marsh. I see the ethereal beauty of the marsh during my walks through the Water Fowl Park. Whether it is a bright sunny day or a misty humid day, the beauty of the marsh is enchanting.
The painting focuses on the light as it falls on the marsh. I used acrylic inks, pastels, and acrylic paints to create layers. I wanted to show the colours of the marsh as they change throughout the year. In the summer marsh grass is green. As Fall approaches the colours start changing to gold and brown. Cattails with their brown tops dot the marsh, giving it yet another beautiful cloak.
